Many times the opiod/opiate medications are NOT very helpful in controlling nerve pain. There are many other medications to treat nerve pain specifically that could be helpful including:
I was told a long time ago by a Chiropractor, PT and a PA that they thought I had Fibromyalgia, so for years I have basically had it in my head that that is what is wrong with me...now not so sure....now I have to worry about MS and I have been told by an LPN that I know has great knowledge that she thought I might have Lupus... I am waiting on my insurance to kick in (that I should have gotten last year, but didn't)...but I have an appt. with a Doctor and I want to know what kind of work up do I need to see if I possible have Lupus. I am frustrated because I know since I have been living with all this going on...long story...that I should have gotten help earlier. I have basically been living with pain with no help for the last 4 years since I moved back from a different state...now I am on some meds that did kind of help in the beginning, but now not so much help....I have tried just about every Herbal and OTC pain med I could try.....
We can't have any post without credit to this group. It is invaluable to so many of us. I include myself in that. I use this place to do my volunteer work. There is nothing more satisfying than to get a genuine thanks for listening, for understanding. When a "real" job is something I had to give up with the strokes, this is the thing that I gained. This I do in my pajamas, the other in pumps. It's an easy choice to me! Love to all.
Sudden decrease or loss of hearing has been rarely reported in people taking PDE5 inhibitors, including VIAGRA. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to the PDE5 inhibitors or to other factors. If you experience sudden decrease or loss of hearing, stop taking VIAGRA and contact a doctor right away.
The most common side effects of VIAGRA are headache, facial flushing, and upset stomach. Less commonly, bluish vision, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light may briefly occur.
